Garage Sales
The City of McKinney requires homeowners to obtain a permit for a garage sale. They are free and you are allowed 2 per calendar year, good for 10 days each. There are no rain dates. The permits can be obtained through the McKinney website. You can add more exposure to your sales by placing a free ad in this website. Just put your ad in through "Classifieds" under the "Residents" section.

National Mosquito Control Awareness
Help prevent the spread of mosquitos by making sure there is no standing water in your yard. Residents may use the mosquito control hotline at (972) 547-7473 to report any standing water issues or mosquito concerns.

Sex Offender Notifications
Sign up for free to be notified if any sex offenders move into the area here.

Cell Phones and School Zones don't mix
Homeowner's need to be extra cautious while driving in the neighborhood during school zone times. McKinney approved the no cell phone use in school zones. Ash Woods Park
Ash Woods is a McKinney maintained neighborhood   park featuring a splash pad, pavilion, playground,   multi-purpose court, swings, picnic tables, open   space for athletic play, and a 0.4 mile looped hike   and bike trail.
